42. Magic Kingdom of Ladras
One of the Seven Kings of Alrescha was enticed by the Dragon King to defect from Alrescha and form his own Kingdom. From the capital at Ladras, it grew to encompass the Dragons‘ Boneyard, and current day Aquirus and Rostorl. Magic was woven into the very structure of the capital, allowing it to thrive in the barren desert. Farming and agriculture were made possible and the very city itself had the power to rise into the air. However, it was not to last, as in the Eighth Century, it was attacked and destroyed by Alrescha. The surviving citizens were scattered to the winds and left to settle Aquirus, Ulkarne, Elz, and other present day city-states.

The legend of the world’s creation, chronicled in „Origins“, tells of the gods and the ages of wars that have been fought since the beginning. While no physical copy remains, the long-lived elves and dwarves pass down the story from generation to generation. Amongst the numerous gods detailed in the legend, the sky god, Nothune, is said to have been born from the universe itself. Shrines dedicated to Nothune are found all over the land. To honor the land’s creator, Vyas, the continent was named Vyashion.
